Welcome!

Pastor Jonathan Overstreet is dedicated to the expositional preaching of God's Word, evangelizing the lost, and discipling the saints. He has degrees from Bob Jones University and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He is married to Heather and the Lord has blessed them with 7 children. They enjoy spending time together as a family.

Associate Pastor-Tony Howell and wife, Leah

Pastor Tony Howell is a native of North Carolina. He is a graduate of Carson-Newman Collage and Southwestern Theological Seminary. Tony served as pastor of Starr Baptist Church for 32 years before retiring in 2023. He is married to Leah. and they have 2 children, Tricia and her husband Bobby, and Anthony and his wife Katie. We enjoy spending time with our 2 grandsons Anthony and Asher.

Distinctives

We are a church that loves God, Sound Doctrine, loving fellowship, the Doctrines of Grace, The Five Solas, and expositional preaching.

Gathering

We are a family friendly congregation that emphasizes evangelism and discipleship. Our Sunday School time is important to us as it helps us keep that small church feel.

Beliefs

Our Statement of Faith is a revised Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We changed a few items to emphasize the sovereignty of God in the salvation of Mankind.
