Young-at-Heart, our senior adult ministry, meets every last Monday of the month at noon in the Dining Room for a covered-dish meal. The food is always delicious and bountiful. These meetings consist of games, guest entertainment, and devotionals and provide a wonderful means of staying connected. They are open to everyone fifty-five and older.
Other activities include daytrips to area attractions and events. A week-long tour is usually planned each year on our 47 passenger motor coach. Past trips have included the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Niagra Falls, Washington DC, the Little Grand Canyon, the Kentucky Blue Grass Country, Toronto, Charleston, Savannah, and frequent trips to Myrtle Beach and Pigeon Forge.
Our 2011 tour , May 2-7, was our first to the Ohio Amish Country.
Day Trips include places such as The Cove _ Asheville, which we enjoyed on August 23; an annual autumn trip to the mountains for apples, etc.
Our longer trips are always scheduled for Monday through Saturday. It is our policy to not have our groups away on Sundays.
